2022 SWIMGA Pruning Workshops

Mark your caldendars for two pruning workshops at Hartman Arboretum. The topic for the 10 a.m. workshop is Pruning of Young Trees by Evansville City Arborist Shawn Dickerson. Some of the trees in the Arboretum will be used for the demonstration. If time permits, a trimming example of a shrub will be included. THe 11:30 a.m. workshop will be devoted to Small Fruit Management presented by Grant Hartman. Hartman will discuss blueberries, blackberries, and raspberries. Pruning is expecially important to keeping blueberries healthy and improving yield.
